He is at a club in the premiership with arguably best youth set up in the country, or he could have come to us who are in the championship, struggling with FFP but on the up with a brand new acadamy.

The 'right' choice would have been to stick to the agreement he had originally made, regardless of any other offers that were on the table at the time, which they clearly were.
Or, if he thought he was going to be offered the Southampton job, he shouldn't have agreed to join the Albion.
