Is North Stand Chat the biggest forum in the Football League ?

For a couple of seasons now i've looked at opponents teams forums every time we play a match. Especially if we've won. From what i can tell there are few, if any forums/boards run by fans as big or as well run as NSC (moderation, features, uptime). Either judged by the volume of posts, the number of users simultaneously online or the range, quality and diversity of topics being discussed.
(Don't want to cause a binfest but on that criteria , it also outperforms BBS for example)

Is NSC really the biggest forum of Football League clubs ? Any bigger Prem League fan forums.

and Leeds have hundreds of millions of fans across the world, they must have bigger forums than ours.

It has been mentioned before several times that NSC is more active, has more members, discusses a wider variety of topics and in general is more busy than others.

I don't know why this should be so, or more specifically, why others aren't at the same level. Maybe it's the way it's run, I don't know, but I always feel lucky that it is this way.

There are some fans on here from other clubs that are part of the furniture. Sometimes they say ,we, and then you realise that they don't mean us!

Stealth-like double agents. Dangerous. They should be given the digital equivalent of tar and feather.

Is NSC the biggest? Probably not. Is it the best? Well, I find it more entertaining than other sites I observe.

Nailed on its top of the league in pre season doomongery , how do i get to victoria via hove , and i had to queue for something content .

best is a subjective thing and i'm sure there are smaller (registered users, # of posts, volume of threads, unique views, dwell time) out there that might have a higher "quality" of discourse. Hard for me or anyone to judge "quality" but i'm struggling to find a similar forum of volume/size. Does anyone have an example ?

It is the most active forum I have come across. Also the best moderated. That's may be
why it attracts more traffic. Less people are put off taking part when things are more reasoned.

I know it's a subjective thing, that's why I said that 'I' find it interesting.

In terms of biggest, what is the frame of reference you are considering? Just UK football? European?

I was thinking UK but if non uk forums are thriving or not then fascinated to see other NSC size examples.

The more stats tab has the average posts per day at circa 2900. I'd have thought we post more than that? Can [MENTION=6886]Bozza[/MENTION] confirm? Can't see NSC stats (or can't find the link)
