Are they really a measure of how we are going to perform in the forthcoming season ?

I would say no !

Can anybody remember pre seasons in years gone by ?

Yes we beat Chelsea a few years ago, lost to Villareal last year, hammer the local non league team, that's about it, hit and miss every year.

Mostly all forgotten once the season starts and never really referred to when we've been successful or had a poor season.

Let's move on, it all starts v Sheff Wed.

I for one will reserve criticism until the league gets underway !!

I remember playing Spurs and the Goldstone. We lost 2-0 in front of 10k i think. We also had just signed two Spurs players ourselves.

I think that by the end of September we will know.

Who remembers the Leicester one at Withers? Think they were prem or Champs and we won 3-2. It was clear that day Leon Kinght was going to be immense for us & he didn't disappoint!
