...since we moved to the Amex?

Not on a wind-up or moaning, generally questioning how capable our current squad is vs our recent previous squads?

Well, it depends. Its not complete yet. So are we comparing it with other incomplete teams or full strength squads?

I would not read too much into any pre season results, further at present we are still very depleted,so on sheer lack of numbers alone, currently, yes, but it's going to be a good season...

Shirley we can't answer that question until after the transfer window has closed. The squad in our first season at the AMEX wasn't brilliant and probably over achieved by finishing 10th.

Defence sounds like it needs a defensive midfielder in front of them, hopefully toko is that man (and stays fit)

The squad hasn't been fully assembled yet , another 4 or 5 players could make all the difference.

Impossible to say, as you know.

What are you driving at? You think we're going down?

Don't forget we had the likes of Dicker, Painter and Sparrow as first team regulars the first season, not to mention Casper and Sexy Pete taking it turns to mess up in front of goal.

Don't get me wrong, they are all good players, but we would have all probably thought O'Grady and Hughes were great signings in that context.

Fairly much can't be. When we moved in to HQ we'd replaced Murray with CMS, Painter was still getting a game at left back, Dicker was a midfield regular and Sparrow his replacement. We got through that season on a combo of luck, marquee signings (Vicente) and Poyet genius. The current squad has a lot more high level experience but is incomplete and working under a new boss.
