According to The Hollywood Reporter, Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco currently earn $325,000 (£190,000) per episode and are seeking up to $1m (£584,000) per show.

Apparently Parsons walked off the set and isn't coming back, had another row with Galecki. Probably the roommate agreement again.

This paved the way for satirical new site Empire News to publish a story that Parsons will no longer be part of season 8. The hoax article reads: "Sheldon Cooper won't be returning to "The Big Bang Theory" for its 8th season, after actor Jim Parsons has walked-off set and quit the show because of an on-set fight with co-star Johnny Galecki."

When I went on a studio tour a few years ago where the show is filmed our tour guide said the team from that show were the most obnoxious of all the other actors - not sure if he had a axe to grind or not though

I've watched it since it first started late at night on Channel 4 I think it was. The modern day Friends and so much better!

They've done very well considering the average show has about 1 original joke in it. It's always on in my house so I find myself watching it against my will, can go through hours and hours without coming close to laughing once.

I think it is quite clever, but I've not watched from season one to present day in that order. I've been bombarded (through choice) of any episode going.

I enjoyed seasons 1-3, but after that they're trying too hard to get original storylines and they've zoomed in one one thing about each character which makes them dislikable. I love the show, but time they drew it to a close.
