its a nut, not a bolt.

dont think its a trunion, looks more like one of those fixing nuts you get from flat packs that lock when turned.

Sold a cot to someone tonight... and a nut like the above got lost in transit.

And actually, cylindrical insert nut isn't helping on eBay etc.

Anyone?

The 'technical name' is a cross dowel.

Available from Screwfix and other good hardware stores.

Ridiculous! I switched to screwfix a while ago and must have already saved a small fortune by not shopping in B&Q.
