He was on loan and only played a handful. I mean our own player who was the regular, undisputed number one for a proper period of time.

well roberts played a few games on loan for us in the same season as big dave, before signing permanently the following year.

I think the OP was getting at keepers who were our definite number 1 though as opposed to those covering injuries like beasent...kuipers was our first choice that year

I disagree i would say he was comfortabley our number 1 under wilkins.

Edit. Wow clearly not. Only 13 appearances for the club. How the mind plays tricks.

it was under adams that he played as well

I liked Graham Mosley Eric Steele and Brian Powney who was a Seaford Lad I think.showing my age but I will be at the Amex to see another English Keeper.
