From what I've seen in pre season so far, our delivery from set pieces is poor. Jakey is not the man (yet) to be whipping them in. Lua is good at direct free kicks but we are really lacking an Orlandi/Dave/Vicente type specialist. Set pieces could decide many tight matches. These are fine lines.

Agreed. However if O'Grady can pull about some defenders like he's good at it may help improve our strike rate from them

I seem to remember Jake nearly curling one in against Charlton so I'm happy with him to take some of them if Kaz isn't playing/its not the right angle for one of his bullets.

Rotherham's Ben Pringle would be a step in the right direction. His delivery from set pieces is superb. Has a decent shot on him as well. 25 years old, so still fairly young.

This, he does have a good delivery, and i seem to remember him saying in an interview he likes playing in the attacking midfield role, so once he's fit he could play there? The Leicester game in particular springs to mind, didn't he have 3 assists, including a lovely chipped/lofted pass for Ulloa's first

Sami used to score for fun from corners for Liverpool. I hope he can pass on the knack to Greer et al who rarely deliver from these situations. Should be worth 10 goals per season.

they have been crap for a couple of season's as we don't look dangerous from set plays and it's so easy for the other teams to defend
