Maybe as a coach, the experience and knowledge he could pass on to players would be brilliant.

Not as a player though, I follow MLS a fair bit and its fair to say he didnt really impress at Portland - hence his release.

Why are we always linked to old past it players (mainly defenders)?

If he's no good for the MLS he's definitely no good for The Championship.

My sister ran in to him a few times in bars in Portland, not sure he's been taking the best care of himself. He was also released over 6 months ago at this stage.
