Sunday lunch pub recommendations in East Grinstead please

Will be there with my walking group next month. The only pub I know (and like) is the Old Mill at Dunnings, but it's a bit off our route. Is there anywhere more central in EG that's does a decent Sunday pub lunch? I'm not very hopeful, but any recommendations appreciated.

Sorry but the Old Mill is the best around. And at less than 3 minutes walk from home it is perfect!

Go and see Richard at The Dorset Arms he'll sort you out with a decent bit of grub.

The pub is being closed for a refurb soon so might be worth checking it is open before you go.

Unfortunately the standard of pubs in EG is poor, but Dunnings is your best bet - albeit a little pricey. Shame you're not in Forest Row/Hartfield.

Another vote for the Dorset Arms if you are in the centre

Thanks for your feedback. I think I'll go for the Old Mill although it will take us off piste somewhat.
