Albion in the Community’s (AITC) summer holiday football programme gets into full swing throughout Sussex next week with over 30 different courses taking place across the county.

There are still a limited number of places available on the courses, which are run by FA licensed and fully qualified Albion coaches. They are aimed at boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of four and 14.
Courses range from one to three days and include fun skills sessions, dribbling and shooting drills and small-sided games and tournaments.
The courses also encourage the values of teamwork with coaches working closely to help improve the technique and confidence of all those taking part.
Albion captain, Gordon Greer, is backing the summer holiday programme.
The Scottish international told seagulls.co.uk, “The summer holidays are a great time for kids to be out enjoying themselves, meeting new friends and having fun playing football. Our courses offer all these things and give boys and girls across Sussex the chance to learn new skills from some of the best coaches around.”*

For the first time bookings for the courses can be made online by visiting www.albioninthecommunity.org.uk. In order to book you will need to register on the website first before searching and selecting the courses to book onto. The summer holiday courses are part of a wider sports participation programme run by AITC that saw over 14,000 young people in Sussex take part in football and sport last year.
