Sounds like Crawley treated in like a cup final rather than a warm up game? Not sure we need to be involved in this type of game with our squad size?
Don't think Sammi is too happy about it

imagine if we were both in the same league, I'd hate for us to have to play them twice, in a competitive game, we already get enough injuries as it is ffs

I can only remember an Albion team losing to Crawley once, and that was the Sussex Senior Cup Final in the late 60's. Tbh this annual "friendly" fixture only started when we lost the Goldstone. When you consider that for almost a century we were the only Football League team in Sussex, so for them any game against an Albion side is a cup final. It would be a sad day should we ever play them for league points.

Disappointed with the aggression shown by Crawley last evening. Clearly out to 'give it hard' to the senior team. Personally if they want another pre-season friendly I tell them to pizz off.

That said I did think they looked quite good and might risk a few bob on them for a top 3 in league 1.
