It was more a technical question about who owned what of the retailing equipment the Amex uses, whether leased or contract caterers provide the cash tills etc.
Very useful response as we were in the processes of trying to find out some details for a contract we were bidding for - top guy as he could have flatly said no and I made it very clear from the start why I wanted to understand the Amex retail set up.
