I was lucky enough to see him live (Uni ball). The Cheeky Girls were the act before him and they were utter bobbins. Disappeared after a shower of plastic cups and cheap lager.

His father was on the guitar and they played some terrific music, before the one and only finale.

But, alas, I can't name any of the other songs.

Chip Hawkes was in the Tremeloes and they were a very popular 60's band. Silence is Golden probably being their biggest hit.
