As the title suggests, what did you have for yours? what would you have? I recently saw somebody trying to do their first dance to metallicas 'one'. Very odd.

We didn't have one. Instead, I'd pre-recorded a load of music we both liked (from Boards of Canada to My Bloody Valentine, also modestly including one of my own songs) and we let that play whilst everyone just got slowly drunk after the meal. Speeches were also limited to 60 seconds each and there was no best man. People, we set our own rules in the spirit of punk. Still seemed to cost quite a lot though....
