No longer can we sing it when the Albion team is in full flow, pinging passes all over the park and scoring goals for fun.

In future we will have to reserve it for those (thankfully rare) occasions when we are getting hammered and defending like idiots, e.g. Derby away in the playoffs, Liverpool away in t'cup.

How the world changes.

Huddersfield away was the only time I can remember being able to sing that version!

Stirred feelings of half-time at the Goldstone many years ago....BHA 1 Bristol Rovers 5 ( final score 2-8 )
The mystique and romance of Brazilian football has certainly been tarnished by this lot. My God, what a shambles. It shows how fortunate they were to reach the Semi's. Maybe it would have been better had they gone out earlier ( narrowly ) than being forced to suffer this national humiliation. There would have been a hangover but nothing like this. They will never get this out of their system and the players and management will have this round their necks like a millstone, for ever.
Neymar has had a very lucky escape ( and, to some extent Tiago Silver...although some fans will blame him for a stupid suspension..unsettling the back four ) His reputation is still intact and in the years to come all the pressure will be on him to perform. The rest will be villified and eventually cast aside for new blood.
