Brighton & Hove Albion fans have created history in the past 24 hours with a record number of visitors and orders via the club's online store - following last night's unveiling of the new Nike shirt for the 2014/15 season.The staggering number of unique visitors to the site on Thursday was four times the previous high - and five times as many shirts were ordered, compared with the first day fans could pre-order the previous best selling home shirt.
The club's three new kits are proving a hit with fans and are creating quite a buzz among fans on social media with many sharing the various images issued by the club while others are getting in touch with the club directly to share their thoughts and feedback.
Albion retail manager Ben Price commented, "The new kits are already very popular. Orders are still coming through in huge numbers, and we strongly recommend ordering shirts as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
