It's the time of year for a Seagull mortality or two, although much mooted as being clever, sometimes they are rather thick. Expect more grey feathery squidges on the roads any day now when the flying Ants hatch.

I was there - somehow missed the bird being hit in the air but saw it waddling off into the outfield afterwards. It kept trying to take off but couldn't.

Some lady did manage to catch it and took it away, and got quite irate with the tv cameraman trying to film her.
Haven't heard what it tasted like yet
