£43.00 inc booking - good price or not ? Did see them at the Dome about 4 years ago and were rocking !!

£43 - are you kidding me? Seems awfully steep.

I've not seen Kasabian for getting on for 10 years but they always put on a good show, chances are if you like their stuff, you'll have a good time.

The Centre is an awful venue though.

Maccabees are supporting them, and they are excellent live.

But £43? I paid £50 to see Gorillaz there, which was ridiculous, but they had a lot of guests (including the late, great Bobby Womack), but I wouldn't pay that.

I was at the Pressure Point gig, a mate was in the headliners and I knew someone in the opening band.

I genuinely don't remember seeing them, I suspect I was outside smoking or drinking downstairs for the majority of their set!

Might be wrong but if you live in the area you can go along and buy them direct from the Brighton Centre booking office and save yourself the booking fee. Used to be the case at least.

Saw Kasabian last time they played the Centre and they were excellent!

That's a big positive. Wierd choice for support though, it's a bit like having Blur support Oasis. I would have thought they'd opt for something a little more laddy and northern!

Agreed. I don't want to see Kasabian, but would love The Maccabees to tour again - as headliners. They are supporting Kasabian for the whole tour. Pity.

Management's sixth choice...they struggled for this tour. Probably because their live show is embarrassing these days.

Care to reveal who turned them down? I would have though a Kasabian Nationwide support slot would be really worthwhile regardless of what the band thinks about the headline act.

Nah, it's just scheduling. Kasabian, as a band, are nice chaps in any case. Even if they do cover Praise You and play Eez-eh.

Yep, this is still the case. Did exactly that for The "From The Jam" gig next month & the WWE in November and saved myself the booking fees!

I think I'd rather see Daniel O Donnell. If you paid me £43 I'm honestly not sure I could actually go.

But hey, just my opinion!
