Flitting between the county league and mates rates

If Hastings residents were catapulted back into the middle of the dinosaur age what would the outcome be? Would they thrive and repopulate the world, taming the beasts or would they perish within years.
No modern technology would be available to them just what they could source from the prehistoric land that they find themselves in.
Hastings would start of with around 90,000 ish but how many would survive without the necessary hunter gatherer skills?
Any thoughts how it would pan out? Had a sleepless night on this one

Is that not just part of everyday life to someone in Hastings, still lighting fires with a flint
