Cadiz Seagull
Grey bearded old man
Just listened to the first programme of the 61st series.
Used to be the funniest programme on the radio, but not any more. Poor writing, Chairmans's remarks and links very poor, even the panelists seem dated and out of touch with the audience. And no mention of Alfredo Garcia! even though the script was screaming out for it.
Fantastic days of Humph, Willie Rushton who are long gone, Barry Cryer and Graham Garden are still funny but not in this format any more.
Time to put it to bed methinks, before it gets embarrassing
But hey. 61 series is pretty bloody good. But no point in flogging a dead horse.
Brilliant though that horse might have been.
Very sad.
