Sami has said he wants an experienced person he can learn from and someone who will not be afraid to tell him he's wrong. Along with this + knowledge of the Championship + knows how to operate as a No 2 + one of the original Seagulls + previous manager + respected by the fans + blue & white striped blood.......surely our Nobby ticks all the right boxes.

I remember how gutted I was when he resigned and there has been a lot of water passed under the bridge since then. He hasn't set the world alight recently but would be popular with the fans. Not sure if the club would employ him as they do nothing on sentiment any more.
