Words made by club/country and score TV strapline ACRONYMS?

Spun Cuppa

Thanks Greens :(
For example (and unlikely), if this afternoon's WC game is abandoned, we will see HOL A - A MEX, or hello Amex :)

I daresay there are some amusing combinations when it is thrown open to all clubs, of any league worldwide, amateur and pro, and national teams, perhaps slightly hampered by having a 1 and 0 as the only letterlike scores?...

Anybody care to expand?

:)

An international inter-university game between Helskini University and the London School of Economics that was postponed would be:

HEL P - P LSE

Bra - Cam :)

Or Bra - Cam Off (if the batteries ran out).:(

More positively, any cancellation of a Brazil game would be BRA OFF.

Rather less of a notification and more of a request.

Another could be a joint representative side from Oman and Jordan playing Brazil and the game cancelled.

O' Man! Jordan Bra off!

Sorry to be that guy but that's Niger, Nigeria are NGA.

Ah, that explains it. I was assuming it had been photoshopped, as that's not a Nigerian flag on the left side.

Although- when would Germany ever have played Niger? They've never qualified for a World Cup & I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a friendly.

So either photoshopped or from a FIFA computer game, I assume.
