Hi all, Bristol City fan in peace here, and I just wanted to get your thoughts on Jon Obika, as I believe you had him on loan for a period of last season.

We have been heavily linked with him the last few days, and with us being tipped for promotion, and with some of the quality signings we have made over the last weeks, is he the sort of player we need?

Also, what are his main attributes? Is he a target man? Or is he a pacey striker?

May be OK for you in League One, but was disappointing for us last year. Showed a bit of pace, but poor in front of goal - not much use as a striker!

He's got real pace, an incredible first touch and is a quality finisher. I wish we had signed him. You will definitely go up with him leading the attack.

He's a big powerful striker,looks quick and dangerous yet somehow lacks any strength, pace or general ability. He once performed an overhead kick which we're still waiting for the ball to land.
