as title really.

I'm getting an Internal Server error when I try to access a password protected web page on my site. .htpasswd file is in place

Probably something really simple to sort but it's doing my head in!

Sounds like an authentication issue. Take look at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/...ntication-for-directory-internal-server-error

There is lot of people struggling with this problem on the dev forums so I don't know if the solution proposed is too simplistic?

Bingo! Many thanks.

Turns out the absolute path in my .htaccess file was incorrect! Been struggling since 6am on and off!!

Now for a nice cup of tea! Cheers.
