So England are out, but life continues in the World Cup, and to some extent it makes punting easier as you can be far more dispassionate over your wagering. With two of the three games now complete in each group, form is beginning to show, but there are still some value bets around.
In the outright betting, Belgium (22/1) is the next to add to your list of outsiders with a live chance of progressing to the last four (at which point there will be lay-off possibilities).

Brazil (11/10) are now odds-against with Sky Bet to make the top three and this should be taken.Best value on Monday, albeit short, is to back Brazil (1/2) to be leading at halftime against Cameroon. The hosts are 1/8 to win the game, so 1/2 is possibly a slip-up by the Sky Bet odds compilers.
Uruguay at 9/5 are the value bet in Tuesday's qualifying decider against Italy.
It has been a strange group but these two were my pre-tournament tips. Only one can now progress and with Luis Suarez firing, I'm going for the South Americans to dominate.
On Wednesday, France will be on many peoples short lists to defeat Ecuador, but having already qualified they might well turn it down a notch and give the South Americans a chance to compete. The draw is 11/4 and should be taken.
Good luck and happy Punting!
