The Falmer Cup - Sunday 6th July **Official Thread**

The SWC Supporters Group are delighted to announce The Falmer Cup, a
7-a-side charity football tournament for Brighton and Hove Albion fans taking place on
Sunday 6th July 2014 at the University of Brighton’s Falmer Sport Complex.


As well as raising money for The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund and The SWC Supporters
Flag Fund
, the winning team will take home the coveted Falmer Cup with prizes being
awarded at the tournament after-party taking place at The Swan Pub in Falmer.
Organised by Albion fans for Albion fans this is a new event for 2014, allowing teams
from the Brighton and Hove Albion supporters’ community to pit our footballing skills
against each other.

Teams taking part include The Seagull Love Review, North Stand Kollective, North West
Sussex Seagulls, WeAreBrighton.com, AmexNorthStand.com, the South West Corner
and of course North Stand Chat. Come along and give them your support!


The Falmer Cup 2014 has been generously supported by Streamline Taxis.

The first group games kick-off at 12pm with the trophy presentation taking place at The Swan, Falmer from 5pm (this time is subject to change).


Entry is FREE for spectators but please make a voluntary donation for these two great causes!

We can now reveal the special guest who will be presenting The Falmer Cup to the winning team. The presentation will take place at The Swan pub in Falmer, from around 5pm this Sunday.

Really good luck with this mate, think it's a great thing you're all doing !
May jump on the old Scooter and come and watch.
What time does it all start ?
Would love to get involved next year as I'm moving to Brighton in the next 6 months.
Also I may donate my services next time for an end of tournament Disco / Karaoke to make you a few extra pounds, if that's ok.
