It's more a question of how much of that money isactually given to the players, and how much is invested in infrastructure and other expenses.

Mmmm. The money goes on everything but producing new players. Ironically, one of the relegated clubs have done well with their youth policy and will use it this season - Fulham. The PL are crippling the development of players and the natural progression of clubs by their handouts. Destroying a competitive Championship will impact on the production of players.
