Both looked good going forward in their first game.

My only prediction then - there WILL be goals. :)

Looking forward to this one.

IF England get through and IF they play the Ivory Coast then we might just get the loudest ever rendition of the Yaya-Kolo Toure Song. I live in hope.

So Colombia it is then in the second round... IF we manage to get there...

Their support has been immense again!

Dear oh dear. Rubbish corner to begin with and then rubbish defending from the Ivorians.

2-0! Colombia do not mess around on the counter!

Agrred, the counter attacking football from Columbia, and Chile for that matter, has been lightening quick. Superb to watch. Am loving this world cup.

The Colombian sub Arias looks good. We should try to get him in, as I should imagine he will be going for a song...

PS I think (?), this is Lawro's swansong, as he's not on MOTD next season. Correct me if I err?

Four mins added time?! Should be at least six.

Also, re: Alan Green et al, and Lawro tonight, moaning about players having to go off the pitch after injuries. This came into force at World Cup '94 in the USA, after Euro '92, when players were going down feigning injury, wasting time, then getting up and running freely after 'treatment'. Hence the go off the pitch after treatment rule...
