I'd say that a 2 goal win and a draw out of our remaining games should do it. I can't think of many combinations of results where it wouldn't.

In an ideal world we win our 2 games, Uraquay beat Italy and Italy Costa Rica draw we would then go through as winners with Italy and Costa Rica both on 4 points.
In the last three WC finals 46 teams lost their first game. Only four subsequently made it out of their group. I'm not saying we can't make it out, but the odds are agin us...

Back four are really going to have to up their game. I thought we looked good going forward. Much quicker than what we normally see with England. Gutted to have lost, but still confident of getting out the group.

It's the way world cup draws work with the 2 teams from each group going into the 2 halves of the draw
If we both go through then we could face each other in the final/3rd place game. Not all that likely though.

That may not be so easy. We draw with Uruguay and then have to beat the team that spanked Uruguay ?

Welbeck looked like a different player last night, I think we would of beaten Uruguay and hopefully we will on Thursday.
