I thought that by tradition, only Blatter can declare a World Cup the Best Ever ?... he usually does.

Early signs are good.
Lots of goals a couple of upsets already & in my opinion most importantly the refs are not booking every player that commits a foul.

Germany 2006 got off to a flyer too I seem to remember.

This one has certainly been full of drama and excitement so far. Two upsets early doors always helps too.

Let's hope it carries on like this all the way through.

Looks the best so far. Referee decisions could spoil it. One in the very first match gave Brazil an undeserved win.

My outside tip to upset the applecart: Algeria.


England can blame the injuries to Townsend and Walcott to explain why we can't score (before the match has started).
