Just a bounce,hope you post if found.
As I only live around the corner I'll keep an eye out.
Hope you find him. Not a lot of help right now but an acme working dog whistle is a big help with spaniels. I just helped a lady on Shoreham Beach. Her son's daft spaniel went in the sea after a football. Ball and dog drifted out to the buoys and about half a mile along the beach, before the sound of the whistle finally persuaded the dog to abandon the football and head back to the beach.
Had he been to Normandy for the D-Day commemorations?

Yes, I hear the dog is outstanding at map-reading, but not so good with calendars...
