Saw them setting that up the other day, on SSN.

You had to bring your own sofa, to secure your spot.

That's tremendous, I imagine Gumtree et al. were shifting a few old sofas in the weeks leading up to it.

Love the orderly fashion in which they are lined up.

If we did it in this country it would be a total scrummage.

(double post)

where could we set that up in Brighton I wonder

The lounge is at 1FC Union's ground; so any football ground?? I think weather might be an issue in the UK though.

Brilliant. They seem to have provided side tables and lamps as well from that picture.

Have been to a game at that Union Berlin ground (rocking when it's full of pissed Germans about 18,000 of them still standing on terraces), you basically have to walk through a forest to get there from the train - a long hike with a sofa! Definitely need the help of a man with a van.

Brighton factually.....
Think it is fantastic being a quarter German I love it.....

It would never happen in this country as who would want to lump a sofa in one day and back home after two games, at least the Germans can sort of predict they will be there longer.

My local (named after the Slayer drummer) has installed two huge screens on the outside of the building; it's on an angle and there's one screen on each side. The idea is we sit in the street and watch the game.
