fifa ultimate team transfermarket question

hi people of nsc.

I am new to fut.

have been trying to list a player on transfer market.
I set the buy it now price of player and duration and hit list.
on my dashboard it says the player if active on list; however when I search the open market for it, I cannot see it.
nor can my friends when they search. obviously he will never sell if no one can see him.

what am I doing wrong

I think that's quite normal. I can't see players I have listed but I've still sold plenty, so someone must be able to see them.
