Brighton & Hove Albion extended their unbeaten run to six games in November, with three wins and a draw to move into ninth place- their highest position in the league to date.The Seagulls started the month with a 3-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium, which included Jake Forster-Caskey’s goal of the season strike.

The 20-year-old took aim from distance and launched an unstoppable drive past keeper Ross Turnbull to give Albion an eighth-minute lead before Chris Brown brought Rovers back on level terms after guiding home Mark Duffy’s free-kick with 15 minutes remaining. But two late goals including Leroy Lita opening his Brighton account and a superb set-piece from David Lopez secured the points for Albion.The game was followed by a hard-fought victory over Wigan two weeks later, thanks to an Andrew Crofts header, in a match where Albion showed their play-off credentials against a former Premier League side.
Oscar Garcia’s side then ended the month with a draw against south coast rivals, Bournemouth in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Matt Ritchie gave the hosts the lead after drilling home a Charlie Daniels free-kick just before the half hour mark, which gave the Cherries impetus to threaten the Albion goal with a number of opportunities. Ritchie had another free-kick that went just inches past the post in what was arguably the closest opportunity, but Albion netted the next goal in spectacular fashion.
Ashley Barnes latched onto Inigo Calderon’s ball inside the box. and with his back to goal, took two touches before unleashing a ferocious left-footed drive past Lee Camp to ensure Albion earned a share of the spoils.
