Madejski has basically 'handed back the keys' to a creditor who is trying to sell the club to one of a number of foreign consortia

They cite it as a 'cash strapped club' Why do they not sell the naming rights to the stadium, rather than name it after their former owner?

That's a fair question. One can only presume he has 'naming rights' for a set period of time. That said, if it's the club he loves and it was that cash-strapped, surely he could forgo it and sell them to the highest bidder.

Football league now not happy that the company who have taken over Reading from Madejski haven't gone through the 'fit and proper' rubber stamping.
