I'd still prefer Stephen Ward to sign for us, but a bloody good shout if not. As you say still only 31 and with bags of experience. One hell of a left foot too!

Ward would be my priority signing ahead of Rise... But I think Rise would a great addition too! And he should be okay with 12K a week, which is fine

many players have said he's the fittest player theyve ever seen - so dont think 33 is an issue (plus look at wayne bridge when we had him, he was 33?)

would be happy with either him or ward to be honest - plus we will have a freekick taker
