Has the road been fixed along Brighton seafront? A23 to Churchill square car park?

I can't find any info on this anymore. I haven't been to Churchill square for a while. Are you able to drive into Brighton the normal way yet though? I.e. A23 to Churchill square car park?

Or is road still closed and diverts apply?

It's open, but there is a contraflow, so it's a bit slow.

Went along the seafront the other day and there is a lane closed so traffic heavier than usual but road open

Can turn into West Street when travelling eastbound but not westbound. As others have said with one lane out of action in both directions there will be longer queues.

and leaving churchil car park, turn right, as one cant go back right down west st. no signs to tell anyone this. going in west bound (from the pier) what you can do, is turn up the road before, Middle St then left down Boyce st, cross the road in to the carpark.
