Plenty to keep us occupied over the summer, which are you looking forward to most before the new season kicks off in August??

A no brainer for me really, it just has to be the World Cup, closely followed by anything else remotely footie related. That said l do enjoy a bit of golf too, so l'll be keeping a close eye on the Open at Royal Liverpool next month.

This year it's got to be the World Cup followed closely by the tennis

1. World Cup
2. The Open
2. Tour de France
4. US Open
5. Wimbledon

I can't decide between Tour de France and The Open for 2nd place, possibly Tour de France as it is on for 3(?) weeks rather than just 4 days.

And le Tour starts in le Yorkshire this year for the first time - extra British interest there.

I chose not to select the World Cup, as I think most everyone is looking forward to that. Away from such an event it would be the Rugby Union internationals. There are a lot of enticing fixtures this month.

Surprised Wimbleodn isn't doing better, a British sporting obsession. Guess it shows how big the World Cup is.

Personally speaking, Tennis bores me to tears.
