I think he has a soft spot for us and loves calling the palace the stripy nigels

It does seem to like us. Complimentary in the past about the Amex, Dick's Bar, etc. He didn't join the pro-Poyet bandwagon when he was suspended then dismissed. And we've never been in the hit-list of clubs he winds-up like CP, Arsenal.

He is a known wind up merchant I am afraid

Yeah, I have come to see this. I checked the link I posted was working after I'd posted that and it opened up in my browser, rather than my app and all I saw was many replies to Kerry saying "Not again" "Sure, sure" "Mayo's on a wind up again" etc etc.

Oh well, wait and see what tomorrow brings...

The piece I heard, Durham was questioning whether Sami was the right choice - not managed in England, got a team out of the Championship etc. He wasn't hugely negative though, just raising sensible questions (same as we all will). Agree he tends to be generally favourable about us.

Not sure about that as Bloom & Burke are off to Portugal today for Football League meeting or something, I suspect Saturday

Maybe right. I'm stuck on my dialysis machine all morning, so I have.nothing better to do than keep getting the news all morning. Keeps me occupied :)
