I need something to take my mind off work and I have decided upon the harmonica.

It's always appealed to me and like the idea of being able to transport via my pocket.

Don't mean to be rude but i thought you were deaf?

Not rude at all, I've since had a cochlear implant and my hearing is pretty decent.

I get battered and bruised in special needs schooling, so want something to lose myself in. The harmonica has always attracted me.

Ooh technology eh? So you don't have anything grasping onto your ear no more?

I'm at the mercy of batteries and technology.

Pre-implant, a hearing test gave me 8% - repeating a man on short sentences from a speaker (in a sound proof room). Post-implant, I was/am scoring 98%. Very pleasing.

Well i can't help you with a Harmonica but my girlfriend had a Rolf Harris stylophone which you could fit into a pocket. Give one of those a bash chap
