There’s so many to choose from;

The swagger and bravura of Julius Caesar

The savagery of Sulla

The quiff and confidence of Pompey

The oratory and verbal gymnastics of Cicero

The wisdom of Marcus Aurelius

The courage of Cato

The crassness and greed of Crassus

The cruelty and excess of Caligula

The sagacity and curiosity of both Pliny the Elder and the Younger

I’m going for Cicero.

Great race, the Romans

You've got to admire Vespasian, though. Stabilised the Empire after the year of four emperors, founded the next dynasty and provided a role model of good governance that subsequent emperors adhered to until that tit Commodus.

How about interesting for infamy?
Caligula - he married his horse.
Nero - very self indulgent; the golden statue of Nero speaks for itself.

Caligula - grossly misrepresented. Possible incestuous relationship with his sister. Threatened to make his horse a senator to illustrate what a bunch of jokers the current lot were.
Nero - allegedly kicked his pregnant wife to death. Nice chap.
