A group of Sussex business leaders will be going the extra mile for Albion in the Community (AITC) when they pedal to France in just under a month.The riders are among 56 people taking part in the first ever AITC Brighton to Paris bike ride which sets off from the Amex on Friday June 20th ending three days and 130 miles later in Paris. They include Simon Gregg, Director at It First, Barry Carden, Partner at Carden accountants and business advisors, Gary Peters, founder of LoveLocalJobs.com, and Dean Orgill, Partner within the Litigation Department and Chairman at Mayo Wynne Baxter.*
AITC's head of fundraising and events Millie Lanz told seagulls.co.uk. "It is great to see some of the region's leading business people getting on their bikes to support the AITC and take part in the event. With just under four weeks to go until we set off everyone's training and fundraising efforts are really stepping up a level."

Meanwhile, a special world cup quiz night is taking place next Tuesday in Dicks Bar at the Amex to help raise money for the bike ride.Teams of up to six people can be entered with entry costing £5 per person. The quiz starts at 7-30pm with doors open at 6-30pm. Dick's Bar will be serving the usual variety of refreshments on the night. The money raised from the bike ride and the quiz night will go towards supporting AITC's disability sports projects which disabled people across Sussex the chance to take part in sport.*
