Doubt they will go with oscar, they will want to maintain their progress and get someone proven and successful at that level

He's signed a 5 year deal at spurs.

Hilarious that Levy has given him that long a contract, he sure does have a sense of humour with his recent history of hiring/firing.

And some people think we're having a disappointing summer.

Saints have lost Pochettino, are likely to sell Lallana and Shaw, and have dispensed with two of the coaches in their renowed youth academy (or whatever their role is, Jason Dodd was one of them).

Must be pretty depressing around St Mary's this week.

At least it will (temporarily) give those nice Pompey fans something to beat up their neighbours over..............for a change:D

Pretty sure the £50 million they'll get might cheer them up.

Interesting job for someone. Good young players or a shed load of cash if they sell them.

Agree. And our lot seem to get mardy and suicidal about losing a few bit players and ageing veterans. WE GOT IT GOOD! New man at the helm, wages to spend, big crowds, great training centre. No worries, not heading towards catering and shirts just yet.

I beg to differ. I bet their board will be having exactly the sort of crisis that some on here would have if we got (say) £7 million for Ulloa.

"It doesn't matter about the money, how will we ever REPLACE him"

"Our transfer policy is rubbish, just look at [Jon Obika/ Dani Osvaldo]"

"We're bound to lose out in the race to sign player X, because [Liverpool/Nottingham Forest] are also interested"

"It's nearly JUNE and we still haven't got a manager or signed any players, we're DOOMED, mark my words".

Plus ca change.

Oh, and the inevitable:

"Why don't the board show a bit of AMBITION, instead of letting all our best players and managers leave? Something must be BADLY WRONG at this club"
