I know many factors come into play, like the quality of the players and competitiveness of the league but here is a brief comparison of manager win percentages::

Andy Awford (Pompey) 71% played 7
Tim Sherwood (spurs) 50% played 28
Chris Hughton (New) 55% played 70
(Birm) 42% played 62
(Nor) 29% played 82
Kenny Jackett (Mill) 42% played 307
(Wol) 60% played 51
Hoddle (spurs) 39% played 104
(Wolves) 35% played 76

The benchmark is:
Oscar the quitter (BHA) 39% played 53 (loads of draws)

Surely our main criteria for the new man has to be minimum win% 45%. Nothing less.
Sherwood!

Win % mean nothing do they really. If you're at a better club your win % will be better and vice versa.
