Ralf Rangnick has previously managed Schalke 04 x2, 1899 Hoffenheim, Hanover 96 and vFB Stuttgart. He is currently Sporting Director of Red Bull Salzburg. He studied at the University of Sussex and played Amatuer football for Southwick FC, although I'm unsure on how true them claims are on Wiki.
