Both out of contract at Wigan, could they be tempted?

Gomez the creative midfielder (and brother in-law of Orlandi) and Beausejour a left winger who can play left back

Jordi Gomez is a fantastic and exciting player. He's also mustard at penalties which is a bonus.

Gomez should be playing in the prem, plus, I think David Burke got asked about Gomez and came up with Jordi Shore on his lil computer

Would be a real asset - but him OR Joe Cole rather than AND I would have thought.

I'd absolutely love to have Gomez here. He has experience getting a team out of this league (Swansea) doesn't he?

Would sign Beausejour up in a heart beat! He's a very useful player.

Jordi Gomez: Sunderland to sign Wigan Athletic midfielder

Sunderland have agreed to sign Wigan midfielder Jordi Gomez on a three-year contract from 1 July.
The Spaniard's contract expires this summer and the 29-year-old will join the Black Cats as a free agent.
Gomez joined Wigan from Espanyol in 2009 after working with Latics boss Roberto Martinez on loan at Swansea.
He scored 11 goals last season, including penalties in the 2-1 FA Cup win at Manchester City and the semi-final defeat against Arsenal.
