Any recommendations on the best browser to download for Android? I was going to download Firefox but reviews I've seen recently seem to suggest it has been crashing more frequently following recent updates. Any advice gratefully received.

I use Dolphin and Lightning. Both good.

In rehab
opera mini or Dolphin. Try both and see which one you are comfortable with.

Quite like Chrome tbh, but previously I used Dolphin.

Firefox was a waste of space, always crashing, and seemed to be quite the resource hog / battery drain.

Installed Firefox on my Hudl yesterday. It didn't crash, but I don't suppose many cars would crash if they went that S L O W. Awful.

Back to Chrome, but will follow this thread...

Cheers for all the responses. Have downloaded Dolphin to start with. Will see how that goes. Glad I asked though. Certainly thought Firefox was decent previously but clearly not anymore. Got a hunch I'll end up using Chrome.

Dolphin - its the only only one that still supports flash on the newest android, handy for footy streams and certain other sites..

I've settled on 2. Chrome mostly but UC Browser HD is also very very good.

I must have been through them all. Firefox feels very "shareware" these days.

If you use your device at work and they have any proxy settings and web filtering a good browser is Puffin, designed to get around filters and can also stream flash content as it is hosted on their servers and streamed to your device. Don't know what it is like as a browser though.
