"Three-time F1 world champion Sir Jack Brabham - who won the title in a car he built himself - has died aged 88.

The Australian driver, who was knighted in 1979, won the championship in 1959, 1960 and 1966.

His son David confirmed that he had died at his home on Australian's Gold Coast after a long battle with liver disease."

Rest in peace.

Seem to remember he once finished a race, and got some F1 championship points, by pushing his car round the track for the last few bends and over the finish line, after it had conked out!

One of the old legends, for sure.

Half expecting the news to be that Michael Schumacher has failed to recover from his bang on the head. Five months is a long time for very little progress, is he vegetative?
