I appreciate that this is not directly Albion related but I'm hoping you'll forgive me, given the nature of this post.
I have written a football song, it’s called “Sing out for England (Brazil 2014)” and it’s coming out as a proper single raising money for Cancer Research. We hope it will become the official unofficial England World Cup song and is written from the point of view of an average football fan (me I suppose) celebrating England’s involvement in the World Cup. I wrote the song in response to the news that the official England 2014 World Cup song was going to be cover of the Take That song “Greatest Day”. I thought England’s campaign deserved a dedicated song rather than a half-hearted re-hash of an existing song.
We have called the "project" Eversfield as it's a collaborative band involving a number of musicians who are regulars at Eversfield Studios (Horsham). The single will be released on Monday 2nd June and will be available through iTunes (amongst other download sites). So if you fancy helping raise a few quid for Cancer Research and at the same time helping some old duffers realise a dream of releasing a single (and maybe) getting in the charts, perhaps like our campaign page on facebook to keep up with how we are doing:

Here's a teaser of the song (video coming shortly)....
